This website is operated by Famagusta Dental Association (Οδοντιατρικός Σύλλογος Αμμοχώστου), a non-profit association registered in the Republic of Cyprus with its principal office at Makarios III Avenue 244, P. Lordos Center, Block A., Flat. 202
3105, Limassol, Cyprus.
By using this website or purchasing tickets to any event or conference organized by the Famagusta Dental Association (hereafter “the Association”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
If you do not accept these terms, please do not use this website or register for any of our events.
- Scope
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all conferences, events, workshops, and ticketed activities organized by the Association, whether held online or in person.
1.2 Specific event-related information such as date, venue, pricing, and program will be made available on the individual event pages.
- Registration and Payment
2.1 Event registration must be completed through the official event website.
2.2 Full payment is required to confirm registration. Once payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email.
2.3 The Association reserves the right to refuse registration or cancel a registration in case of non-payment, suspected fraud, or violation of these Terms.
- Ticket and Attendance Policy
3.1 Tickets are issued for personal use only and may not be resold or transferred without the prior written consent of the Association.
3.2 The Association may require proof of identity at check-in for in-person events.
3.3 By registering, attendees agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and safety protocols communicated by the venue and the organizers.
- Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Cancellations by the Attendee:
– Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to [Email Address].
– Cancellations more than 30 days before the event: Full refund.
– Cancellations 15–30 days before the event: 50% refund.
– Cancellations within 14 days of the event: No refund.
4.2 Cancellations by the Association:
– If the event is cancelled by the Association, a full refund will be issued.
– In case of rescheduling, participants will be offered the option to transfer registration to the new date or request a refund.
4.3 The Association is not responsible for any costs related to travel, accommodation, or other personal arrangements affected by an event cancellation or change.
- Program Changes
5.1 The Association reserves the right to make changes to event content, speakers, schedule, or venue due to unforeseen circumstances.
5.2 Such changes do not entitle the attendee to a refund unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Use of Image and Content
6.1 By attending events, attendees consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and to the use of such media by the Association for promotional purposes.
6.2 All materials presented during events are the intellectual property of the Association or its partners and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
- Limitation of Liability
7.1 The Association shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred during attendance at an event, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
7.2 The Association is not responsible for technical difficulties or disruptions in online events caused by third-party services or attendee hardware/software issues.
- Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 The Association collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
8.2 Your data will only be used for event registration, communication, and related administrative purposes unless you opt into additional services or communications.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Republic of Cyprus.
