The President and Members of the Board of the Famagusta Dental Association have attended the 30th BaSS Congress (Balkan Stomatological Society) that took place between the 7-9 of May 2026 at The Met Hotel in Thessaloniki which was under the aegis of the Hellenic Dental Federation.
The FDA Members that represented Famagusta and Cyprus were:
– Δρ. Γεώργιος Ε. Αβραάμ – President of the Famagusta Dental Association and Vice President of the Cyprus Dental Association
– Dr. Niki Nikolaou Demetriou – Vice President of the Famagusta Dental Association
– Dr. Maria Georgiou – General Secretary of the Famagusta Dental Association
– Dr. Efkleidis Avraam – Member of the Famagusta Dental Association and former President of the Cyprus Dental Association
The FDA would like to thank the President Dr. Vaios Kontopoulos and the Board Members of the Thessaloniki Dental Association for the invitation and the warm hospitality, something that proves the true bond between our two Associations, based on honest values.
We would like to extend our gratitude and our special thanks to the man who made all this happen, Dr. Konstantinos Kougias, President of the Organising Committee of the 30th BaSS Congress and congratulate him for the truly excellent result the Congress has achieved. The FDA has truly felt at home based on the brotherly hospitality that we received by Dr. Kougias and the Thessaloniki Dental Association.
